What are cookies
Cookies and similar local-storage technologies are small files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your session, preferences and security state.
What Beyanka uses
Beyanka uses strictly-necessary cookies and local-storage entries only. These are required to operate the Service and to keep your account secure:
- Authentication session — keeps you signed in across pages and tabs.
- CSRF protection — prevents cross-site request forgery on form submissions.
- UI preferences — small local entries (e.g. notification toggles, profile-edit drafts) stored in your browser only; never sent to our servers.
Under the EU ePrivacy Directive and GDPR, strictly-necessary cookies are exempt from the consent requirement, which is why Beyanka does not display a cookie consent banner today.
What Beyanka does NOT use
- No third-party analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel).
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No cross-site behavioural tracking.
- No social-media share trackers.
If we ever introduce optional analytics or marketing cookies, we will deploy a proper consent banner first and ask for your explicit opt-in before any non-essential cookie is set.
Managing cookies
You can clear cookies and local-storage entries at any time through your browser settings. Signing out of Beyanka revokes your session immediately. Clearing the authentication cookie will simply require you to sign in again.
